The ninth edition of this acclaimed cannabis fair brings many new features and surprises that will delight visitors. An event will be held within the premises of Eventpyramid Vösendorf, a unique pavilion with a pyramid-shaped glass ceiling that provides a magical and aesthetic touch to the show. One of the most outstanding events on the European circuit this year which has also put all the stops to make a very ambitious programme. Let's take a look...

What does Cultiva Hanfmesse offer?

One of the attractions of this conference focuses on the talks and activities offered by the Congress of the event, which will gather some of the most important cannabis experts in Europe. This year, specialists in the field of medicine, the cannabis industry and the legislative framework will meet to share their knowledge in the following conferences:

The science of cultivating happiness: the role of (endo) cannabinoids, by Tanja Bagar (Saturday 12.00-12.45)

Tanja Bagar is the president of the science council of the International Institute for Cannabinoids (ICANNA), an organization dedicated to the research of cannabinoids and their possible applications in different fields such as microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology.

CBD applications in the field of medicine, by Kurt Blaas (Saturday 17: 00-17: 45)

Dr. Kurt Blaas has focused his research and professional development in Vienna, in the therapeutic use of cannabinoids. He is the co-founder of "Cannabis as medicine" a working group formed by patients, medical professionals and the legal field.

This year, the organization of the fair has devoted much of its programming papers to medical cannabis and has wanted to take a step further by creating a dedicated area for patients. This platform will serve all those who wish to obtain information or exchange their experience with expert medical professionals in the treatment of the following conditions:

  • Chronic pain
  • Spasticity
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Inflammation
  • Arthritis
  • Cancer

These encounters, which will take place in small groups of 8 to 10 people, will be limited in time in order to give a chance to any patient wishing to enrol in the sessions.
