Purple Orange CBD

Purple Orange CBD: Californian beauty and flavour with the benefits of CBD

  • We are particularly proud of our Purple Orange CBD, and the fact is that in addition to being a plant with singular aesthetic and aromatic features, it comes from one of the few regular lines rich in CBD available in the world.
  • A discovery that for us has been a pleasant surprise, the process of which we will explain below.
Purple Orange CBD

In order to create this formidable hybrid we used a regular Diesel line that comes from Northern California and which we fell in love with due to its profound aroma of citrus and chocolate. Purple Orange CBD is the result of an intense selection process, carried out by our team of technicians from among many specimens of California Orange Diesel, a series of plants that we obtained from high quality seeds. It should be noted that in both this version and in the rest of our catalogue of CBD-rich varieties, there is a lot of hard work both breeding and in the laboratory.

The first step was, as we said above, to carry out an extensive classification process. When we at last chose the "champions" (the plants which due to their features where the best of the group), we analysed their chemical composition in our laboratory. We were very pleasantly surprised by the results of these analyses, as we found high levels of CBD in the chemotype of several sisters of this Californian variety. That was when we knew we had something special in our hands.

Purple Orange CBD is born from a backcross of this Californian Diesel lineage; in this way, we have managed to stabilise and fix all the potential and virtues of these genetics: a very special flavour, aesthetic beauty that stands out thanks to the purple hues of the plant and, above all, the high levels of CBD it contains and which make it a very special strain.

This new version is a purple-coloured beauty that reaches a THC/CBD ratio of 1:2 and produces cannabinoid levels of 16% (THC+CBD). It is a plant that is particularly appropriate for those looking for a mild and pleasant effect, as its proportion of CBD reduces its THC content. Thanks to this, the effect is less psychoactive, as cannabidiol modulates and moderates the sensations, sometimes unpleasant, produced by THC (tachycardia, red eyes, dry mouth, anxiety, etc.).

CBD or cannabidiol, which up until now had taken a back seat, is making a strong entrance in the market, transforming the way recreational marijuana is consumed. Thanks to varieties such as this one, those who cannot tolerate the strong psychoactive effects of THC can find an answer to their needs. A perfect plant to enjoy cannabis in a relaxed and sustainable way without suffering the extreme potency of marijuana. A plant with singular features that combines a delicious orange, chocolate and lemon aroma with the benefits of CBD and which will delight the most demanding palates.

Purple Orange CBD is a plant with Sativa dominance of vigorous growth and which also has a good yield, as it produces abundant harvests of large, dense buds. In addition, growing it is a pleasure for the eyes, as during its flowering period it acquires changing hues of purple. A combination of race, flavour and beauty that has made us fall in love. Purple Orange CBD is ideal for those who love fruity flavours and who want to consume cannabis without too much of a powerful effect. Thanks to its ratio, this plant becomes an excellent ally for the therapeutic use of cannabis, as it is a very good option to alleviate anxiety problems, to open your appetite and to lessen muscular pain and tension.
