Cannabis Fairs: Dinafem's Agenda for 2012

Spannabis

Spannabis is seen by many as the biggest and most important cannabis fair of the world. Every year at the end of February tens of thousands of people visit this incredibly popular event in the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain. With a little over 8,000 m2 and over 150 exhibitioners, you can see and try a wide range of products, ranging from cannabis seeds, industrial hemp to materials for cultivating and various paraphernalia. Dinafem is present at Spannabis every year and we're looking forward to be there this year again.

Growmed

In April the first edition of the Growmed cannabis fair will be held in Valencia, Spain and is organized by cannabis newspaper 'Soft Secrets'. Growmed presents itself as a new cannabis fair 'with a twist'. Information and experience is the common thread and many new projects will be introduced. At Growmed you will find a trade show, smoking lounge, art & lounge area, cyber cafe and a medical arena. Soft Secrets has a long history with organizing cannabis events, so Dinafem will be present for sure and we have high expectations of what Growmed will present this April at this new cannabis event.

Cannabizz

In the weekend of 4-6 May the second edition of the international hemp fair 'Cannabizz' will be held in Prague, Czech Republic. Since the decriminalization of small quantities of cannabis in Czech Republic in 2010, the market for cannabis and hemp (related) products has seen an interesting increase, so the introduction of a new cannabis event was a logical step. Dinafem was also present also at the first edition of Cannabizz in September 2010, which was a huge success with more than 100 exhibitors and around 17.000 visitors. No doubt we will be there again this year.

Treating Yourself Expo

Dinafem goes Canada! This year it will be the 3rd time the Treating Yourself Expo will be held in Toronto. Dinafem was also present last year and we were highly impressed by the outstanding quality of this cannabis fair. The Treating Yourself Expo is largely focused on medical marijuana and at the fair you will find hundreds of vendors from all over the world who specialize in the medicinal use and production of high-quality medical marijuana. Besides the large trade show, you will be able to get a ton of information and there's plenty entertainment, such as a glass blowers competition, a vapor lounge, cartoon artists and much more.

Expocannabis

Expocannabis will be held from September 30 – October 2 in Madrid and is after Spannabis the second largest cannabis fair in Spain. This is the 3rd year Expocannabis will be held in Madrid and it will also be the third time for us we will attend this cannabis fair. Expocannabis has proven from the beginning to be a very well organized fair with many different exhibitors and huge crowds of visitors. Expocannabis promised the 2012 edition to be even bigger and better than previous editions, so we're quite curious about what the 2012 edition of Expocannabis in Madrid will bring.

Cultiva

The beautiful city of Vienna, Austria will host again this year the Cultiva cannabis fair. This is already the 5th edition of this fair and Cultiva has quickly grown to be one of the most important cannabis fairs in Europe. A huge variety of exhibitors will be present in the exhibition hall and over the course of three days, there will be a dozen speakers, a lot of music and many workshops will be hosted on several subjects. The event will be held in the Eventpyramide Vösendorf, a 42 meter-tall glass pyramid-enclosed tropical garden and also Austria's biggest greenhouse. A more beautiful location is hard to imagine for a fair like Cultiva.

CannaFest

CannaFest is the second cannabis fair in Prague, Czech Republic this year and will be the last fair in 2012 we will attend. Cannafest is the perfect opportunity to gather information and purchase the best products from the international hemp industry. More than 100 exhibitors will be present at CannaFest ranging from seed banks, grow shops, hemp products to cosmetic and medical cannabis products. CannaFest is known for presenting a big amount of entertainment to their visitors. For 3 days the main stage at CannaFest will host numerous events with music, lots of different competitions, shows, demonstrations and give-aways.
