Bubba Kush is a legendary feminised cannabis seed. That's why the catalogue of Dinafem Seeds couldn't do without her; because she's the most acclaimed Indica plant ever. The story of one of America's most beloved strains dates back to the '90s, when some Kush-lovers set out to create new breeds in Los Angeles. Named after her creator, a grower called Bubba who happened to develop the Bubba Kush cross totally by chance, she quickly became the favourite flower of famous rappers such as Cypress Hill. And rumour has it that, during this Bubba-mania, half a kilo could be sold for $8000. Ours derives from a Pre´98 Bubba Kush elite clone and faithfully reflects all the marvellous traits that have made Bubba Kush the most highly regarded strain in the world: a strong taste of gasoline and coffee, and a powerful soothing effect.

  • Bubba Kush has been awarded the 1st Outdoor prize at the Copa Cannabis Uruguay 2015.

Morphology

Bubba Kush is a rather bushy plant: compact, with very few branches and short internodal spacing. She’s just perfect for small spaces due to her easy-to-control size, not more than 1 m indoors. With surprisingly wide leaves, well-developed side branches and a density off the charts, Bubba Kush is the purest Indica ever. The vast majority of plants acquire incredibly beautiful dark colours at the end of the flowering phase. In fact, when the dark-green top layer gets splattered with some purplish leaves, Bubba Kush becomes a real sight to behold.

Yield

Bubba Kush is noted for her excellent crops, not so much in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality: incredibly compact buds overflowing with trichomes; rock-hard, sticky flowers showcasing a marvelously unique aroma and a legendary effect. And, to top it off, the resin produced by this plant is one of her most important traits because it's of superb quality.

Aromas and flavours

Bubba Kush showcases a unique aroma. The expression “it smells of Bubba” is not used for nothing. When saying so, we refer to a mix of gasoline and earth, with hints of coffee, spices and citrus; some incredible touches that are also noticeable in her exceptional taste. Both have very strong personalities that, if consumed by combustion, turn into dense smoke.

Effects

The 'high' delivered by Bubba Kush is devastating, both soothing and long-lasting. Her THC levels being so close to 18 %, we recommend this strain to those who are used to coping with potent cannabis, because her effect is actually very powerful. Physical, capable of alleviating muscle tension at once, but cerebral too, clearing the mind at a stroke.

Cultivation

Bubba Kush is suitable for all kinds of growers, rookies included, because she is indeed a really grateful plant: resistant to drought and with a short flowering of 60-65 days, she provides marvelous results in exchange for very little attention. There’s only one drawback: she has plenty of incredibly wide leaves that could prevent the buds in the centre from receiving the amount of light they need. But there’s an easy solution to this problem: trimming.

Let’s keep a watchful eye on her growth at the end of the vegetative phase, right when the plant is about to start the flowering, because that’s when we could ruin everything. We should, therefore, trim the central leaves because only in this way, with the best ventilation and light conditions, will we be able to get central buds that grow normally, without any moisture-related problems. Don’t forget that, when growing outdoors with natural light, Bubba Kush is ready for harvest by mid-October.

Cannabinoids

Total amount of cannabinoids*: 18.47%

*Cannabis contains at least 113 cannabinoids, which can be either acidic or neutral. When heated – e.g. through smoking, vaping or cooking – acidic cannabinoids decarboxylate and become neutral. This report refers only to the main cannabinoids – acidic and neutral – in this strain.

Terpenes

Total amount of terpenes*: 1.43%

*Cannabis contains over 100 terpenes. These compounds create the aroma unique to each strain and can interact with cannabinoids. This report refers only to the 15 most abundant terpenes in this strain.

These results have been obtained by liquid chromatography coupled to a UV-visible HPLC Detector (HPLC-UV/VIS) for identifying the cannabinoids and by gas chromatography coupled to a flame ionization detector (GC-FID) for the collection of terpenes. The equipment has been previously calibrated and quality control samples were run to assure the accuracy of the results. The data shown here is the average of samples coming from several plants grown from seeds by different growers.

The data contained within this report was collected in accordance with the requirements defined by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in their Recommended Methods for the Identification and Analysis of Cannabis and Cannabis Products. 1. Ultra dank

I've grown 2 seeds of these. Both were exactly the same smoke. The description is 10000% accurate. Props to Dinafem. This plant is so good that I just decided to write this review while I roll it up. It smells godlike. It smokes amazing. Grown properly this plant does not make larf. Everything is solid nugs of dank. Yields are average but quality is beyond amazing. I wouldn't care if it yielded half of what it does. Got to have BUBBA. The dried buds will absolutely stink up any area so be careful. You don't need to smoke it to be alerted to its presence. Ultra dank. Don't even mention the effects. 3 joints of Bubba will have the most seasoned tokers sweating. It's rare to be able to finish a joint in one sitting. Easy to trim thanks to a fantastic calyx to leaf ratio. Given too much light it will definitely foxtail

Hassle free grow from seed to smoke. Planted during dry season (Dec- Apr, in Central America). Veggied indoors 18/6 4 weeks and then moved them outside for the duration of flowering. Got 7 oz.'s from 4 plants, all between 1.0 and 1.5 meters. Heavenly bedtime smoke for sweet dreams and zoned nights rest. It's my favorite and will be growing more mor this coming Dec. Highly recommended.
  4. Great Grow

This is my first Bubba Kush grow and by far the best bedtime herb ever. The Indica is very noticeable if you smoke Sative during the day. We smoke a couple of bong bowls before going to bed and we are asleep almost immediately. Great strain and easy to grow. I'm ordering more for sure.

I have been keeping a mother of my favorite pheno of this strain from a seed pack from dinafem i got a couple years. this strain works so well to rid of any pain or anxiety i feel. taste is so hashy and reminiscing of the old school hydro back in high school this kush is amazing and will be one of my picks for as long as i can see. grows short and fat and bushy with fat leaves and nice short node spacing. doesn’t stretch too much in flower just enough to make more room for buds and space the nodes out perfectly. can’t go wrong with this mold and cold resistant strain!

Bubba Kush CBD Was a pleasure to grow I had two phenols one green with lots of crystals and one that turned purple. They finished very fast a little too fast. The smoke was my favourite although it wasn’t the strongest the etc the cbd had a wonderful effect on me.Leaving me feeling really well. The structure was open and not dense. The weight was low compared to high the strains. But still hands down my favourite.Next grow will do more cbd strains looking forward to growing og Kush CBD next!
  7. Terrific Little Plant Highly Recommend!

    5 out of 5
Strong and sturdy little plant. Very, very slow to veg. Also, slow to clone, so be patient she will eventually show roots. Don’t give up, 3 weeks later you’ll have roots. Using a clone box has been the most successful and quickest method for me personally, but plugs work too. The stems are really thick and sturdy, so I don’t have to stake or net this plant as much as other strains. Maybe that makes her more difficult to clone than other strains? So, slow to root, very, very slow to veg. I can do two rounds of other varieties while I wait. I set bubba under the center of the lights and watch others grow up and around her, well, for 4 veg months basically. Very little stretch after the flip, practically none. I recommend vegging her to your desired height before putting her into bud, I prefer taller plants 3-4 foot. Under a 1000w DE grow bulb with Advanced Nutrients it takes about 4 months (clone cutting, waiting for roots, transplant to first pot, to a 5gl and to her final 20 gl pot) before the flip for a large well topped plant. I suggest topping her regularly for many colas. This plant is not a big yielder primarily due to its size, if grown with standard methods. I haven’t tried SCROG or any new fan-dangled method to make her yield more. Topping slows down veg time but brings more in the end. Bubba isn’t fussy. I feel like any skill level can grow this strain without problems. She seems to be tolerant and resistant to issues. From flip she cruises right along. 8-9 weeks. During the rinse the leaves turn a beautiful rainbow of colors. The buds tips take on a blueish black color with pretty lime green and golden red hairs and sparkles with crystals. It’s worth the wait.

  11. B E A U tiful Strain

    5 out of 5
I Bought this at my local shop and I can just say that this strain grows amazingly. it is super forgiving and very hardy. my new go to outdoor strain. At the end of 9 weeks I had big dense 4g top buds with an average yield of 35g. Taste is perfectly indica kush and the smell is like a candy shoppe its so sweet. LOVE THIS PRODUCT KEEP IT UP :)
  12. Fattest leaves ever

    5 out of 5
Bubba Kush is the heaviest indica in my garden. It boasts really fat leaves, and stays short and compact.Furthermore, it has a tendency to grow sideways/horizontally without incorporating any training methods. It's a great choice for indoor gardens. You won't regret it if you don't have a lot of space, or if you want to grow in a closet/cabinet of some sort. The veg phase is noticeably slow, and at first it made me think if there's a problem with the strain. However, don't worry, and as soon as some of the fan leaves size up, it'll start to slowly pick up the pace.It doesn't yield a whole lot for such an extreme indica, but the buds are rock solid. This is my go-to strain for nighttime.I'm a sativa enthusiast, but it's great to have a few indicas just in case.If you're suffering some insomnia, or just want a good night's rest, I highly recommend this strain.
  13. Definitely a keeper

I've been growing this strain for the last year. It's an amazing strain, works great in dtw with coco.I'm gonna cross it with Williams wonder, the 1980s version.

I am growing this strain and I'm closing in on harvest. This plant offers alot to look at color wise. The orange hairs with purplish blue leafs set against the lime green leaves me in awe at every glance. Sweet smelling like green grapes on a vine. I am very excited to taste the bad little lady :) thanks Dinafem!
  16. Definatly use again.

This Strain is amazing. Had very little problems through out and with big yields to end with. Sticky crystallised buds popped up everywhere. Each plant it's self had more colognes and nodes on I had ever seen. Recommend 10/10.
