Dinamed Kush: a pure CBD strain with Kushy aroma and flavour, only available in Italy

A pure CBD strain with high beta-caryophyllene and limonene levels

The advancements in the study of cannabidiol have happened rapidly in the last few years thanks to the legalisation and recognition of the medical properties of this cannabinoid. But creating a pure CBD strain with a structure, aroma and flavour characteristic of a THC variety was still a pending task. That's what makes Dinamed Kush so special, in addition to showcasing the most special flavour on the cannabis market.

So far, most CBD varieties have had a very similar flavour as they share similar terpene profiles. This aroma homogeneity was the reason behind this project. Dinafem Seeds wanted to fix the Kush flavour in CBD, so they embarked on some specific breeding techniques to achieve this.

The aim was to create a pure CBD strain that reproduced the Kush aroma and flavour in the style of the THC varieties. This has become a reality with Dinamed Kush: a strain with really high beta-caryophyllene and limonene levels, perfectly combined with linalool or beta-myrcene. This terpene combination bestows this cannabis plant with a deep and complex Kush flavour.

Indica morphology

Dinamed Kush displays a characteristic Indica structure: limited height; wide, fleshy leaves; short internodes; a thick main cola on which most flowers form; and controlled side branching. All of these features give it a bushy appearance typical of the pure Indica strains.

Dinamed Kush's colour is dark green, just like that of the legendary Californian strain. When the temperature drops, its leaves take on purple hues, which can cover the whole leaf or sometimes only the edges, making it look absolutely stunning.

Super round buds with 'crowning' and high resin content

Dinamed Kush produces round buds in the shape of golf balls that exhibit outstanding weight and volume. They are remarkably dense, with bigger calyxes and quite a lot of 'crowning'. Crowning occurs when the bud is already formed and develops individual flowers or calyxes on its flat top side. When these big individual calyxes grow around this flat top, they make the buds look as if they are wearing crowns; hence the name.

Dinamed Kush's flowering period lasts between 50 and 60 days depending on the environmental conditions. It is during the second half of the flowering that the crowning is clearly visible. With regards to its resin, Dinamed Kush produces bigger and denser trichomes than other CBD varieties. This, added to some other outstanding features of this new strain, make it look different from other pure CBD varieties. It looks more like a THC-leaning plant. Its most distinguishing trait is that it looks like a pure Indica with an intense Kushy aroma and flavour, but with a very relaxing effect more characteristic of CBD.

High CBD levels and calming effect

The THC content of this strain is always below 0.5%, and its CBD levels range between 12% and 19%, depending on the plant. As a result of this, it is a non-psychoactive variety: its effect is calming and very mild, totally different from the typical effect of the pure THC strains.
